First off, When did Creamface form and what is it's purpose?

Mikko: I've been grinding since early 90's with different bands. Creamface was not formed until 1999 when first demo tape was made. In my mind there was crystal clear vision of pornographic grindcore in the vein I wanted it to be. There has been no such porn grind bands what satisfy my taste. Therefore I can say I had even prejudice towards the genre before. Most of projects are merely attempts to shock or make fun with porno, without true dedication and deep interest in subject matter.


How did you feel about the response to your first cdr, Maximum Fetish?

Mikko: It has been very positive, like with every release. I don't promote CF much and don't send free stuff to magazines or anything. I have few good distributors like Hostile Regression rec., Necroharmonic prod., Morbid rec, Bones Brigade prod., Merciless rec,... and some others. They have been very good at getting my releases to the public. Most of say it sells fast and they are asking for re-stocks. However, new stuff is much heavier sound, so it has got even better response than these early demo recordings.


I hear you do all your own photography for Creamface, is this true?

Mikko: Yes it is. I also operate in porno business, on very underground level. I have published and distributed porn, mainly over here in Finland. Current focus is Erotic Perversion magazine and getting couple new videos finished during 2002.


I noticed there are facials more than any other type of porn on Creamface shit, is this your favorite kink?

Mikko: It's one of them. Inside mouth is my favorite way to cum, yet it doesn't look as good as squirting it all over face. My interest includes many bizarre styles of pornography, fisting, hard s/m, shit/piss/vomit, bestiality, and more. I'm also collector of vintage porn, from 70's and earlier.


Seeing as your main influence are more death metal like Napalm Death and Carcass why did you decide to form a porno grind band?

Mikko: Early ND and early Carcass are both true grindcore bands. Meaning ND during few years before and after 1st two LP's and demo & 1st LP and maybe 2nd LP of Carcass. That's no death metal if you ask me. I don't like other recordings of these bands, and I do not own other albums from them. I do like some death metal of course, but none of the suffocation type US death metal hold my interest very long. I decided to form porn grind band because it is one of the major interests of mine and due it's essential part of my life in general, so it's thing I can talk and write about easily, as there's no artificial "image" or pretending involved. Just following the doctrine of carnal lust and working against the christian moral standards of society.


When can we expect the next Creamface release?

Mikko: In early 2002, I think. MTS will finally release vinyl version of "Young & Willing", sometime later another US label will do split CD with Misogynist Pussyslasher (sexist and abusive cyber grind) which is already recorded and Lolita Slavinder Rec will do split CDr single with Black Syfilis (sexist and misogynist metal close to Venom & The Mentors). Other plans are too early to mention.
