Here is another entry in the BloodLust! Detroit chapter, this time coming from Aaron Dilloway. For this single, Dilloway (Hanson Records, Wolf Eyes, The Beast People, Miscarriage, Violent Ramp, etc.) offers up two unique pieces of unsettlingly dark electronics. The creeping, slow-paced A-Side is highlighted by its underwater synth style and its insistent-yet-mysterious vocals. The B-Side starts off with a much harder, oscillating impact, and it evolves into something akin to what might be the final sounds heard before a psychedelic death. Fans of early 1980s synth, industrial, and power-electronics (e.g. Maurizio Bianchi, Lustmord, Esplendor Geometrico, Kraang) will surely bask in the decayed, anxiety-inducing sound of this record

"The first release from Totuuden Sarvi Levyt is a piece of Finnish art destined to remain in the minds of those who hear it. The debut mini-album by Armon Kuilu is a funereal musical journey, two long progressive compositions built out mostly of classical piano, strings, orchestral drums, singing, prayers and invocations in male and female voices. More of a gothic work than a total assault on the senses, yet one must remember that the word gothic is often abused in connotation with just a melancholic form of new age entertainment music but here the soundscapes bring to mind images of forlorn cemetaries, initiatory cults, bloodletting, woodlands and altered states of consciousness. At times the melodies of chamber music break out into squeals, groans and crackling which haunt the space and resonate with the Finnish poetry, that most of the time reminds one of a satanic ceremony. Some passages sound familiar to the listeners of European avantgarde and progressive music such as ACTUS, ART ZOYD and releases from the label Athanor. Post-industrial fans should also listen to this work but remember that this is not your generic so-called occult album with the usual Crowley spoken parts. Instead this is a deeply personal work with challenging classical and sometimes jazz or progressive melodies composed by the master behind the project and performed by real musicians with authentic instruments and also utilizing real actors for the various voices and spoken parts. Believe me, you will hear the difference. The mini-album comes in a black & white sleeve with a full color 8-page art booklet (size 7x7"), built from nature-mystical imagery shot on infrared film."

Gerechtigkeits Liga is the band/project which evolves around Till Brüggemann. In the early 80´s GL travelled to London to meet up with Domnik Guerin of Twin Vision/SPK. Dominik introduced them to Graeme Revell and Brian Williams of Lustmord, who were running Side Effects Records and both of them decided to release an album by GL. Two more GL tracks were also released on the seminal compilation Vhutemas Archetypi, which also featured groups like Laibach, Lustmord & SPK.
The band is known for their mystical, almost martial and epic sounds, which can easily upset the listeners emotions. Nothing for weak nerves...
VOD and TB compiled a perfect supplement to the Lp Hypnotischer Existenzialismus.

Box-Set of Giancarlo Toniutti’s 3 early works “Wechselwirkung", Metánárkôsis, Das Todesantlitz which have all been published by Toniutti on cassette tapes in 1982-83 in a very limited numbered edition.
The Box also includes a 10" vinyl EP with previously unreleased tracks from that same very early period (1981-84).
This work represents his early musical-work as solo composer. 1982-83 was the period, and experiments with early electronics, found objects, rough percussion and noise were the attitudes that coalesce into his first 3 cassette works found on this box. This past time becomes part of the future when historically contextualized.
Early electronics, acoustic objects and the beginning of a form of structuralism was the melange of that young mind. It will come with a booklet incl. an essay about the history of the period, notes and data.

Dark-Ambient / Ritual-Project Konstruktivists was formed by mastermind Glenn Michael Wallis in 1981/82 out of the ashes of Heute. Around this time - in the late 70´s/early 80´s Glenn Michael Wallis was heavily involved with Throbbing Gristle, the U.K. pioneers of "Industrial". Between 1980 and 1982 Glenn/Konstruktivists has recorded several tracks of which one solo-tape and several Konstruktivists-Tapes found release in extremely rare and limited edition on the legendary Tape-Label Flowmotion. Almost 2 hours of those early works are compiled on this double-Lp including his full solo-work (also released as Konstruktivists Vol.1) as well as Tracks from Vol.2 and other tracks released between 1980 and 1982

Lest We Forget is a collection compiled from the earliest recordings by Nocturnal Emissions, a group founded by Nigel Ayers, his brother Daniel Ayers and Caroline K in 1980. It comprises of material previously only available on cassettes as well as tracks recorded under their earlier name, The Pump. The Nocturnal Emissions were active in what has been known as “cassette culture” and explored the medium of underground cassette exchange in parallel with their better known vinyl releases and live performances. They used the available technology of the day in a spirit which seems to have anticipated modern social networking through the Internet. This series of documents offers a rare glimpse at audio sketchbooks; raw, unfinished works-in-progress and live performances by the group. It covers a wide range of musical style by a group who were committed to radical experimentation in both form and content. The box set also contains some previously unreleased tracks from the early ‘80s which sound surprisingly contemporary and fresh.
The group has undergone several mutations since these early recordings and continued into 21st century as a solo project by Nigel Ayers. Caroline K left the group in 1984 and produced one solo album before adopting a more private life. She remained a good friend and lived in England, Sri Lanka, and finally in Italy. She married Danny Ayers in 2001. While the edit of this collection was being assembled, she took ill with leukaemia and died during hospital treatment a few days later. Caroline’s distinctively moody electronics, vocals and bass guitar feature strongly on these albums. We offer this box set as a tribute to her life and work.

"One can’t help but embrace Rubber-O-Cement’s love affair with the two-dimensional on their split LP with Panicsville (Nihilist). Deciphering the duo’s cardboard computer and ramshackle Witchypoo costuming is hardly a vexing conundrum, although it would be nice if such grammar school thetrics were genuine attempts to deceive the audience into believing that a pair of six-foot-tall third-graders might actually be creating electronic noise at the Clitstop on a school night after 11:30. Playing Peabody to Rubber-O’s Sherman, Panicsville set the Wayback Machine for the Columbia University of Electronic Music Center, 1953. Among the bachelor pad birdcalls, space jingles, random blips and bleeps (when the computer’s thinking), certain anachronisms are noticeable, such as Andy Ortmann’s familiarity with deep noise (the bifocals and necktie idea of noise being flat, hissy static with no presence). One welcome absence is the insecurity that unless all these gizmos can be trained to blip and bleep “Bicycle Built For Two”, no one’s going to accept electronics as a viable method of commodity production (excuse me, music making)."

I really don´t know what to say... I have just released a 10" by my favorite band! Released to coincide with the first Sigillum S concert in the US, which we hosted in Chicago on June 7th, "Organic Skyscrapers & Occult Wastelands" features three brand-new tracks. With unusual electronics, processed and treated guitars, piano, etc., and a host of other elements, rhythms and loops, it takes the listener on a bizarre and beautiful journey.
The music and imagery of Sigillum S has intrigued and captivated me over the years. Since starting in 1985 their work has drawn from such a wide variety of sources (musically and otherwise), all drawn into a cohesive and inimitable whole. Their work has been previously released on their own Verba Corrige label, as well as Cthulhu, ADN, Old Europa Cafe, Misty Circles, Daft, Artware, Unclean, and Minus Habens. the two years of silence following the release of his debut-cd in 2001 were very well spent by the [law-rah] collective. force of nature is proud to present a 12" vinyl with two new tracks by the dutch collective.
After the already sold-out skincrime album, ´vesuvius´ is the second vinyl release on force of nature and the first in a series, where each release will be describing a different natural disaster. both tracks are around fifteen minutes in length and created with analog sound sources only. while the first side of the 12" describes the expulsion of volcanic gasses - solfataras - poisoning the air, the second side sketches a picture of Pompeii, herculaneum, oplonti and stabiae, each hidden under 10 to 75 feet of tephra (ashes). two days of volcanic activity killed over 3300 people. the design and packaging of ´Vesuvius´ is explosive itself; slightly transparent golden vinyl resembling the power of the magma hidden deep inside the earth. An ash and smoke colored cover insert designed by dominick fernow of hospital productions not only gives a brief history of the volcano; it also acts as a guardian protecting the gold of an once so prosperous city which is no more.
