'ZINES!

Zines are naturally one of the vital part of any underground scene of old times. I have not seen any zines focusing on noisecore during last 8 years or so. I have no idea if those exist anymore? Zineculture has been going downfall in these times of internet and it's really a shame.

Cover of Misanthropic Strike#5. Mini size zine from Brasil, this issue has interviews with Grinding Putrefaction zine, Bizarre Uproar / Aunt Mary, Arse, Necropussy, Sore Cadaverous, Trucidator and more! Maybe later should scan some pages, where can be seen radicalism of south american scene. Bands such as Necropussy says to refuse to do even vinyl 7" as they would lose control who can listen their noise and therefore accidentally end up to hands of assholes. So do not wonder why you never heard of many of these bands. Often material was not for sale at all.

Another fine example of newsletter type of things from Brasil. Just one or couple papers folded, inluding infos, contacts, and interviews. Sociedade Fudida #2 was in purtuguese, including band infos as well as articles on nihilism, drugs, ufos, etc.

Very famous grind/noise zine from Japan! Rumi Iwamoto published 5 issues of GORE LUNATIC, this #3 is paper back, almost 80 pages and included very good selection of bands of that era. Female editor Rumi has very personal way of doing zine, she adores many european bands (WBI, UGB, Tumor, U.Phlegm, Hiatus, etc) but also always remembers to praice AC/DC and pornography ! This must be one of the best sources of addressies and short demo reviews of various grind/noise bands. Anyone willing to sell #1,2 and 5, get in touch !!

Sikiö was written in Finnish and edited by Pasi of AUNT MARY / BIZARRE UPROAR in very early 90's. I assume 90-91. Issue #2 includes Meat Shits, Splatterreach, Anal cunt, Can't Deny, MITB, Neantherdal, Lurgi and more. I assume this is extremely rare to have and probably only handful of copies of this messy zine has been spreaded.

Krach #1 from Czech Republic. Not sure how much this has sold, my numbered copy is 4th ! Agathocles, Acoustic Grinder, Cripple Bastards etc represent the crust-grind side, but from noise there is D.A.M., G-Hörsturz, WBI, etc...

This zine created by Junior of band MASHER should resurrect today, since it's name fits the situation: SAVE OUR NOISE ! Several issues was published, and here is cover of #4. There is quite a lot of  hc/crust, but always space for noisecore/grind.

CHAOTIC NOISE came couple of issues, edited by member(s) of SUPPRESSION (usa). Included from hc/grind to noisecore to noise/industrial. Interviews, reviews etc.

Another zine written in portuguese. For some reason I got these back then quite a lot, even if not understanding anything what they say. It was of course good stuff to look at, though, and you could figure out, if nothing else, atleast addressies where to send letter and suggest tape trades.

There is lots and lots more zines, but they are pretty much impossible to get nowadays, so might be pointless to list them. There is not so much of zines which are 100% only noisecore. Usually it crossover's with hc/grind/metal.
